THE Royal National Lifeboat Institution were out in full force over the bank holiday weekend, collecting donations to help fund their vital services.
Volunteers from Weston Rotary, a community led volunteering group, were on hand to help with collections, some of whom were helped further by their family pets.
In 2022, the essential emergency service was funded by £188m of donations from the public.
A spokesperson for Weston Rotary reflected on the weekend of fundraising: "This is a sure way of Rotary living up to [our] motto of ‘Service Above Self’, whilst having fun, engaging with the public, and spreading the Rotary message."
