WESTON Museum has invited the local community to help them build a version of the Worlebury Camp Iron Age Hillfort out of LEGO.
The Model Hillfort project seeks to construct and display a replica of the historic fort, which is situated on the north-western outskirts of Weston.
Professional surveys have been carried out to ensure that the model is as accurate as possible. North Somerset Archaeologist Cat Lodge are also lending a hand in ensuring this.
Lisa Clemons, the manager of Weston Museum, said: "Having a model built by local children here in the museum will help raise awareness of this impressive monument that is such an important part of Weston's history."
Cat Lodge, principal archaeologist at North Somerset Council, said: "What a lovely way to showcase the important links between Worlebury Camp and Weston Museum."
If you wish to help, simply ask for a buy-a-LEGO brick form at the museum.
If you are a business who would like to sponsor bricks, the logo can be added to the finished fort display as a thank you.
