A Weston man has been charged with terrorism offences and is due to appear in court today (Saturday, August 5).
Gabrielle Budasz, aged 23, of Drove Road, Weston-Super-Mare, is charged with 'collection of information containing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism and dissemination of terrorist publications to encourage people to engage in terrorism, or provide information that could be useful to terrorists', linked to 'an extreme right-wing ideology'.
He was arrested on Tuesday (August 1) following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East, assisted by Counter Terrorism Policing South West and Avon and Somerset Police.
He was charged yesterday (Friday, August 4) and remanded in custody to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
