YEATES, a long-standing local business, has had a very eventful year as it marks one year since the launch of its £2.8 million removal and self-storage facility at Weston Gateway Business Park, writes Josie Cohen.
The purpose-built facility is now a year old and offers removal services along with 30,000 square feet of self-storage, serving both business and domestic customers.
Yeates, a family-run local business that has been in business for more than 100 years, plans to expand into Weston in order to ensure the company's long-term prosperity and security.
James Griffin, Yeates’ managing director and fourth-generation owner, said: “Yeates started life in 1910 as a coal haulage firm using horses and carts for transport. We have come a long way since then, and we have only managed that by continuing to progress and adapt as time changes. The expansion into Weston is a continuation of our company story.”
Customers can take advantage of the newest high-tech security and safety measures, 24-hour access, and even a new business lounge at the new Weston location. The location also offers lots of customer parking, space for removal vehicles, and containerized storage.
The business had a good first year running out of two locations: the one in Clevedon, which is still going strong, and the new one in Weston.
James added “We are delighted to marking our first year in Weston-super-Mare offering the quality services and customer care that is the core of our business and longevity. We have had a wonderful response from both self-storage and removal customers, and we would like to thank them for their continued support and goodwill.”
The company anticipates continued growth in the future, both in terms of location and revenue.
