THE Mayor of Weston has visited Hutton Moor Leisure Centre to thank the team for saving a man's life.
The popular leisure and sports centre is situated on Hutton Moor Road.
Posting on Facebook earlier today (Thursday, June 22), Mr Cronnelly said: "Popped into Hutton Moor Leisure Centre this morning to pass on my thanks to local heros Rich Green, and the rest of the team, whose quick thinking and actions saved a member's life.
"The team at Hutton Moor performed emergency CPR and used the onsite defibrillator to revive the member before paramedics arrived.
"The member is now making a recovery and this is down to the incredible actions of Rich and team.
"The team are incredibly humble but I - and I know all of you - think they are brilliant and deserve all the praise and applause they've been receiving.
"Without their swift action it could have been a very different outcome.
"You're a credit to the town."
