Mike Leonard and two other local crime writers are holding an event at Clevedon Library on Wed June 21 at 7pm as part of National Crime Reading Month, which we have called Crimes Times Three which is sponsored by North Somerset Libraries.
A spokesperson said: "We will be discussing crime, our books and how they came about, and meeting readers at this free event.
"As you can see from the attached poster I, Mike Leonard, former Cruise ship doctor and long-time Weston GP, will be discussing my recently published crime adventure thriller, A Certain Persuasion."
Brian Price, an expert in pharmaceuticals and poisons (and who advises crime writers nationally about their use and effects), will be discussing his background and crime book series.
Ben Mears, published songwriter, illustrator and graphic designer will be discussing his writing and in particular his Banyard and Mingle crime mystery series.
