A NEW series of Outlaws is being filmed on Weston's seafront.
This is the third season of the show, which was created by Stephen Merchant. Stephen confirmed that the new series would feature scenes from the town on his social media pages.
This includes a beachside kiosk, which was also in the most recent season.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Visit Weston-super-Mare said: "Stephen Merchant confirmed on his @stephenmerchant instagram that filming has started for the third series of The Outlaws... and lo and behold the Weston-super-Mare beachside kiosk that featured in the last series has had a makeover."
Residents have shared their excitement at the news. One local said: "Really good series and I wish we had a Caribbean kitchen like this one."
Another added: "LOVE this show. Comedy and gritty drama all mixed into one. It shouldn’t work but it does!"
Outlaws follows the story of seven strangers who are brought together to carry out a community payback sentence for committing various minor crimes.
