The Football Association have confirmed allocations for teams in Steps one to six in the National League System, subject to FA Council ratification.

Weston-super-Mare AFC’s place in the Vanarama National League South is confirmed after winning the Southern Premier South title.

The Seagulls will be joined by promoted sides Truro City and Aveley as well as relegated National League sides Yeovil Town, Torquay United and Maidstone United.

Due to Maidstone’s southern location this caused Bishop’s Stortford to switch divisions to the National League North.

In the Toolstation Western League Premier last season’s Division One runners-up Nailsea & Tickenham will be joined by fellow promoted sides Oldland Abbotonians, Brixham and St Blazey 

Keynsham have been relegated while Sherborne switched to Wessex in a 19-team league.

The Swags will face local rivals Clevedon Town while Ashton & Backwell United, who finished in ninth place, their highest ever position, have decided to with one team in the Somerset County League Premier after chairman Mike Thomas’ resignation.

In Division One Cheddar and Portishead Town are joined by Bitton, who have been reinstated despite resigning last campaign, Cribbs Reserves and Middlezoy Rovers. 

However, Tytherington and FC Bristol moved to Hellenic 1 and Bishops Lydeard reprieved from relegation but switched to South West Peninsula East, which saw Holdworthy move into Peninsula West.

Bradford Town suffered relegated and switched from the Hellenic, while Cadbury Heath took voluntary relegation from the Premier.
