LOCAL people can explore a wide range of opportunities during the Weston Jobs Fair this May.
The fair, which will be held at the Winter Gardens, will take place on Tuesday, May 16, from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
Somerset Jobs are hosting the event in the hopes of connecting job hunters to employers and giving people the chance to learn more about what opportunities are out there.
It is expected that around 35 to 40 exhibitors will be there on the day to discuss what they are looking for in the ideal candidate.
Employment support organisations will also be available, including the National Careers Service.
Exhibitors that have confirmed their attendance include:
- The British Army.
- Hinkley Point.
- Weston College.
- Bakers Dolphin.
Somerset Jobs director, Stu Wright, said: "I'm delighted to bring an event to Weston. It really is a brilliant opportunity to meet and chat with employers about their vacancies that are available and get a feel of things."
