THIS year's Weston Civic Society Awards has been announced.
The ceremony is due to take place on Monday, April 24, in the town's popular museum at 7.30pm.
The role of the Civic Society is to promote the town and ensure that all developments are within the public interest.
The event will award those that have taken part in improvements to the town throughout the year, whether they be big or small.
The society welcomes suggestions and nominations from the public. They ask that, if you wish to propose a project for consideration, that you contact them with your name, contact details and a very brief statement concerning the project recommended.
If you can, include a postal address and a photograph.
All nominations will be considered by the committee and the winners will receive a framed certificate issued at this year's Awards Ceremony.
