PIRATES of The Panto offers swashbuckling laughs, overdone Bristolian accents, and disco-dancing desert islanders and is the latest production from local community theatre group the Mendip Players.
This year’s pantomime is the tale of a treasure-hunting chase across the high seas.
The meanest, most rotten pirate to ever sail the seven seas and his motley crew, is out for revenge against a heroic young buccaneer and his family.
Knitting mermaids, storms, and dancing octopuses all play a part in the adventure for the cast aged 7 to 70.
Tickets are selling fast for evening performances at 7:30pm on February 2, 3, and 4, plus a Matinee showing at 2:00pm on Feb 4.
Prices are £10 for adults, £7 for children. For more information and tickets, please visit www.themendipplayers.co.uk.
