EMERGENCY SERVICES were called to an incident in Weston earlier today, September 26.
It is yet unconfirmed the exact nature of the occurrence on Winterstoke Road which prompted a large emergency service call-out.
A number of ambulance crews, and an air ambulance, was dispatched to the scene at around 12.30pm this afternoon.
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) confirmed one patient was treated at Weston General Hospital.
A spokesperson for the SWASFT, said: "We were called at 12.29pm to an incident in Weston-super-Mare.
"We sent two operations officers, two double-crewed land ambulances, and an air ambulance.
"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Weston General Hospital."
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police added: "We were called at 1.17pm to support the ambulance service with a medical matter on Winterstoke Road.
"There was no collision or any incident requiring police investigation."
