A COMMUNITY workshop will discuss the future of the voluntary sector in North Somerset at an event in Cleeve tomorrow, September 15.
Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS) is to host a the workshop where not-for-profit groups can contribute to the long-term future plan of the voluntary sector.
Organisations will be able to voice their views about challenges they may be dealing with, or think they will have to deal with in the future.
It is hoped the session will produce solutions on how the future of the sector can be changed to enable the voluntary sector to 'survive and thrive'.
The workshop will take place from 10.15am to 2pm at Cleeve Village Hall, Main Road.
It will be open to any group running a community club, a community interest company, faith group, community amateur sports club, regulated charitable trust, social enterprise company, community group or charitable incorporated organisation.
