Despite wind and rain through the night, they set the new record of bouncing for 36 consecutive hours, five hours longer than the previous benchmark.

Eight people took part to raise money for various charities, including the RSPCA, Help For Heroes and Great Ormond Street.

Kelly Toogood, aged 23, who bounced to raise money for Weston Hospicecare, said: β€œIt went amazingly, the whole weekend was a blast. Luckily the sun came out to dry us all off and we finished with smiles.”
