PUPILS and staff at St Barnabas Primary School in Portishead celebrated St Barnabas Day in style.
The day began with an act of worship in the school hall followed by a fancy dress parade and an exhibition of maypole dancing.
A family picnic lunch on the school field then took place before the day concluded with a successful fair, organised by the Friends of St Barnabas.
The youngsters had designed and made games for the fair in their design technology lessons and the children raised more than £450 from the day.
