Passed away peacefully on 12th October, 2024,
at the age of 96. Formerly Head of Mathematics at The Grammar School for Boys, Weston-super-Mare, and then at
Broadoak Comprehensive. Devoted husband to the late Gloria and always a wonderful father to Jill, Peter, Alan and Gareth.
A kind and gentle Welshman who was adored by his
six grandchildren and his little great-granddaughter.
How truly blessed we all were to have this
lovely family man.
A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of John will take place at 12:30 on Monday, 11th November, at
St.Paul’s Church, Walliscote Road, Weston-super-Mare. Donations, if desired, for “St.Paul’s Church” in memory of John will be warmly received at the service or via www.theelmsfuneraldirectors.co.uk/funeral-notices. All enquiries to The Elms Funeral Directors Limited,
