COLLARD TERRY, The Local Legend, also known as “Binns” sadly passed away at 11.18pm on 18th Feb 2021. A loving husband to Sandra Collard, father to Jason, Jarad, Emma and devoted Grandad to Charlotte, Jack, Gracie, Cerys, Harry, Tom, Charlie, Freddie and Tilly-Mae. After battling Cancer for 2 years and following a short chest infection he was dramatically taken from us, all the family are utterly devastated after losing a huge character and true gentleman. Terry a passionate rugby fan will be missed by many mini, junior and senior rugby teams from across the county, a true friend of the game has been lost. Gone but never forgotten…..RIP Terry Collard. A family funeral service will be held at Weston-s-Mare Crematorium on Wednesday the 23rd March at 12.30pm, yellow will be worn to mark the occasion, the family request no flowers or wreaths however, donations for our chosen charities of Marie Curie and Weston Hospice can be made to Groves Family Funeral Directors, 115 High Street, Worle BS22 6HB. Sadly only limited numbers due to Covid can attend the actual service inside the chapel, the funeral cortège will leave Taymar Court, Taymar Road, Worle W-S-M, at around noon on the 18th. The family will hold a celebration in honour Terry later in the year. All the family were overwhelmed with the care and support they have received from NHS, Weston Hospice, Marie Curie, Alliance Healthcare and many others and we thank them all with all our hearts.
