COUSINS Phyllis Gertrude "Gerty" 5.02.1923 - 7.02.2015 The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all who attended her funeral at St. Marys Church, Wedmore on February 24th, when loving tributes were read by Vanessa (grandaughter), Matt (grandson) and Daisy (great grandaughter). We have received cards, flowers and loving support from so many of our friends, near and far, which has been such a great comfort to us - thank you all so very much. We would praise the Fire Brigade and the Paramedics for their very quick response when Mum was taken ill and we are so very, very grateful to all the staff on Draycott Ward, Weston General Hospital where their care and devotion to Mum was second to none. Kathryn Spencer of Cheddar & District Funeral Directors has been most kind and helpful during these past weeks. Donations will go to Mums favourite charity, Childrens Hospice South West and the Wedmore Tuesday Club. Mum enjoyed her life right up to the end and was able to stay in her own home, with her family close by. She loved her flowers and we will all miss her smiling face as she pottered in her greenhouse and tended plants in her, too numerous to mention, tubs and pots! The kettle was always on and everyone was made so welcome. We miss her so much already but we are lucky, we have such a wealth of memories!
